General Description The TYCO Model RV-1 Pressure Relief Valves, 2 through 8 inch (DN50 through DN200), are factory ssembled and fully trimmed valve arrangements for relief of excess water pressure. These valves are typically used to automatically relieve excess pressure in a fre protec-tion system that utilizes a fire pump. Pilot-controlled, the Model RV-1 Valve maintains a relatively constant system pressure at the pump discharge as fow demands change. The Model RV-1 Pressure Relief Valve may be feld-set to a nominal relief \u201cset pressure\u201d of 30 to 250 psi (2,1 to 17,2 bar).
